In November 2000, Armin Hillebrand and Michael Raab founded Fairvest AG in Nuremberg. Their expertise as specialists in transparency, Controlling/Reporting and Interim Management in the commercial sector. Fairvest's clients mostly came from the Technology and Venture Capital sectors.
In 2002, Fairvest extended its consultancy services to the Restructuring and Rehabilitation sectors. Since then, this speciality has been steadily gaining importance.
In October 1999, Dr Stefan Hamm and Mark Walther founded IVP Management GmbH. Their primary aim was to advise technology-oriented growth companies and their risk capital providers as well as private equity investors. They specialised in the initiation and support of financing as well as company mergers and acquisitions (M&A). IVP Management were based in Munich, with further offices in Berlin and Nuremberg.
Since 2001, IVP Management's focus has been on advising small and medium-sized clients in Restructuring and Strategic Reorientation projects as well as Mergers and Acquisitions.
Progress through Merger
Fairvest and IVP complemented each other's range of services and cooperated with regard to various clients even prior to the merger. This led to the next logical step:
In February 2005, the two companies merged. The extended service portfolio comprised Restructuring, Management Control and M & A as well as Interim Management. At the time of the merger, they were employing 25 permanent and freelance workers.
In August 2005, the company renamed itself Concentro Management AG. It has offices in Munich, Nuremberg and Berlin.
